Established in 1978 as a family-owned business, YÖN TEKNİK is the first and major company manufacturing Air Brake, Clutch Actuation, Transmission and Suspension Control Systems & Components for Heavy Commercial Vehicles in Turkey.
Having started exports in 1980’s, YÖN TEKNİK has become a global brand with its high quality products and spread sales network in 7 continents. As of 2016; the Company has had exports to 65 different countries, preferred and requested by the Professional Users.
In early 2000’s, YÖN TEKNİK became the sole Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in Turkey by supplying products directly to assembly lines of Ford Otosan, BMC (British Motor Company), Temsa Mitsubishi, Askam Chrysler and Guleryuz in Turkey, moreover to these some others in U.K., Thailand and Iran.
YÖN TEKNİK continues its production in a plant having more than 13.500 m2 closed area and produces over 5.000 different products in its range in Istanbul, Türkiye.
YÖN TEKNİK owns an Integrated Facility including Product Research & Development, Rubber Production, CNC Machining, Mold Design and Production, Sheet Metal Forming, Coating, Rubber Laboratory, Product Assembly and Test Lines.
YÖN TEKNİK is disciplined to keep high standards of production quality and holds the International Quality Management System Certificate "IATF 16949:2016" and "ISO 9001 : 2015" valid internationally. The Company is also on track to be entitled to Q1 Quality Certificate from Ford.
